Take out your agenda and block the 30th of June 2020! The 7th edition of the Blockchain Innovation Conference which will take place in Utrecht, hosted by the Dutch Railways NS. This year, we will not look at blockchain in isolation, but we will explore the intersection of blockchain, big data, AI and quantum computing. I asked Sophie Verberne, Advanced Analytics at the NS why big data, blockchain, and AI are relevant for NS as public transport organization.

How do you go digital as a company? At CIO day, I interview Anil Nashier, director IT of LeasePlan, and he explains me how they mostly got rid of the old and slow ERP systems and move faster. They created a new platform driven architecture digital system. How do they do it? How does it work? Why did they had to start a new venture?

Hoe komen we uit de ellende van de crisis? Prof. dr. Lex Hoogduin (Hoogleraar Economics of Complexity) legt uit waarom hij zo enthousiast is over Bitcoin & blockchain. Hij stelt voor dat de ECB een digitale munt gaat uitbrengen. Hoe denkt hij dit politiek gezien voor elkaar te krijgen? Hij is er enthousiast over, maar we moeten wel een hele zware crisis hebben om dit gedachtegoed boven water te krijgen.

Ik spreek met drie bestuursleden van de Vereniging Elektrische Rijders die hun Model 3 drie maanden hebben en zij vertellen hun belevenis. Hoe ervaren zij de luxe en opties van de Model 3? Hoeveel actieradius heeft deze auto? En ook belangrijk: hoe is de service van Tesla?
