{"id":14923,"date":"2020-12-21T15:13:38","date_gmt":"2020-12-21T14:13:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inzaken.home.blog\/?p=14923"},"modified":"2020-12-21T15:13:38","modified_gmt":"2020-12-21T14:13:38","slug":"wakawaka-wishes-you-a-merry-christmas-and-an-enlighted-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/index.php\/2020\/12\/21\/wakawaka-wishes-you-a-merry-christmas-and-an-enlighted-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"WakaWaka wishes you a Merry Christmas and an enlighted 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/waka-waka-christmas.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14924\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WakaWaka&#8217;s being distributed to refugees at Samos, Greece <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our latest project: 560 refugees&nbsp;on the Greek island Samos will have a sustainable WakaWaka Light and power bank during Christmas time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samos lies only 2 km from the coast of Turkey, which makes it a hotspot for many people smugglers who tranport men, woman and children who are desperately looking for a better place to live.&nbsp;<br><br>There are several camps on the island, all severely overcrowded.&nbsp;<br><br>&#8220;The severe degree of overcrowding makes it impossible to provide anything even remotely resembling the barest minimum of decent living conditions to asylum seekers&#8221;&nbsp;<br><br>-Greek Refugee Council&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together with some amazing NGO&#8217;s it was possible to send&nbsp;560 WakaWaka Power+ to Samos. 60 of them have already been distbuted with the help of <a href=\"https:\/\/waka-waka.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=184ef8a843093fcf3dce0a2b2&amp;id=3b603fc752&amp;e=6acfb28213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Refugee 4 Refugee<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/waka-waka.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=184ef8a843093fcf3dce0a2b2&amp;id=54babd0550&amp;e=6acfb28213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Still I Rise<\/a>. Both organizations assist getting product supplies to refugees.&nbsp;<br><br>The remaining 500 will be distributed in the following weeks to people that do not have access to electricity.
