{"id":44316,"date":"2026-04-30T05:34:59","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T03:34:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/?p=44316"},"modified":"2026-04-30T05:35:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T03:35:18","slug":"la-biennale-di-venezia-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/index.php\/2026\/04\/30\/la-biennale-di-venezia-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"La Biennale di Venezia 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia \u2013&nbsp;<em>In Minor Keys<\/em>&nbsp;by Koyo Kouoh \u2013 will run from Saturday 9 May to Sunday 22 November 2026 (preview 6, 7, 8&nbsp;May) at the Giardini and the Arsenale venues, and in various locations around Venice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the full support of Koyo Kouoh\u2019s family, La Biennale di Venezia decided to carry out her Exhibition. It will do so by following the project just as she conceived and defined it, with the purpose of preserving, enhancing and disseminating her ideas and the work she pursued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/biennale-venezia-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/biennale-venezia-2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/biennale-venezia-2-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/biennale-venezia-2-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/inzaken.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/biennale-venezia-2-88x88.jpg 88w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>110 invited participants<\/strong>\u00a0of this exhibition \u2013 among them, individual artists, collaborative duos, collectives, and artist-led organisations \u2013 hail from many geographies and regions selected by Koyo Kouoh with particular attention to resonances, affinity, and and possible convergences between practices, even when far apart. In looking to artists working in Salvador, Dakar, San Juan, Beirut, Paris, or Nashville, for example, Koyo sought to envision how their ingenuity, breadth of material experimentation, and visionary ideas bear connections to other artists and movements in simultaneity.
